Hi, and welcome to Scorching Sun Games!
I make TTRPGs, and specialize in side games - the ones you play within a larger campaign of D&D, Blades in the Dark, Dungeon World, or whatever your table prefers.
Some are for setting up and introducing a campaign.
Some are for leaving a world or character you love behind at the end of one.
And some are just for that one scene, the one where a couple dice rolls in your chosen system just doesn't feel right or momentous enough.
My games are mostly card-based instead of dice-based, are system-agnostic, and have no complex rules to learn. My creations are heavily inspired by the narrative worldbuilding games of Avery Alder and Everest Pipkin like The Quiet Year and The Ground Itself, as well as the difficult decisions of Apocalypse- and Blades-style games. I try to make sure every game I make has its own internal story, such that it can serve as a standalone experience - and also one that can be easily thrown out the window by GMs looking to create a unique experience for their table.
On this page you'll find some of the things I've made. I'm a small creator who enjoys making stuff, and I'm still finding my footing in the wider community. If you like anything you find here, please tell others about it!
Thank you for being you!
